Logo Design
Dark Matter Trails is a mountain bike and recreational trail design and building service based out of Crested Butte, Colorado. They are independent contractors whose primary clients include Mountain resorts and government recreational facilities.
DMT required a logo that could be easily read and marketed through a variety of print assets including stickers, t-shirts, and flyers. Also, due to the corporate nature of their client, they wished for a contemporary and clean design. Also though, they wanted a mountain in the logo.
The concept is based around mainly finding a solution to create a unique and dynamic mountain logo. Mount Crested Butte became the subject and inspiration for the logo due to its recognizable and unique peak.
